Free Butt Paste!!!

HA! So I guess one of the many advantages of having multiples is free stuff. A very cool mommy of triplets, put together a blog with companies who offer free stuff for multiples. As if having two babies at one time wasn't a bonus enough! Now I'm never one to turn down a bargain (read: I'm cheap!) and if I can get some discounts, coupons or goodies I'm all about it. I never really thought I'd find the time to actually take advantage of any of these offers, but last week I was inspired and decided to give it a try. I sent away for B & K's birth certificates (I guess another bonus . . . it forced me to finally get around to doing that). I mailed off 15 letters -- I figured I'd start small, see what kind of response I got and then maybe send out a few more. I LOVE getting mail that isn't a bill or junk, so yet another bonus is that we would possibly be getting all kinds of cool stuff in the mail.

So why I am I telling you all about my frugalness and desire to "profit" from having twins? Well, we got our first package of free stuff yesterday and I'm so excited!! It was from Boudreaux's Butt Paste (a diaper rash cream). They sent us some little samples & these hilarious bibs. This picture is for my Dad and Aunts Kathy & Cindy. . . we registered for this stuff at BRU and my dad was always asking me if we had rec'd it from anyone . . . and my Aunts were actually the ones who bought it for us. :-) And I can totally endorse it, too . . . both B & K came home from the NICU with NASTY cases of diaper rash / burn and after trying just about every cream out there (including the one the pedi recommended) the Butt Paste was the only one that cleared it up. Yay!!



We also bought a new floor mat for B& K this week and they LOVE it!! Here is a little pic of them playing this morning. Enjoy!
