We let B&K each pick out 5 friends to invite to their party. We held it at a cooking center just for kids. So fun! They made pizzas and decorated cupcakes. And I must say, we were totally impressed at how well behaved a room of 10 four year olds listened and behaved. It was so much fun! And B&K were so excited to be there (and there were lots of funny parts. At one point the "instructor" asked why everyone was there and Kendyll answered "because it is B&K's birthday!!" . . . just like that).
Of course I had to throw in a little crafty, too . . .
Saturday night Tim & I went out for our annual "we survived another year {and we are one year closer to B&K moving out}" dinner with some of our besties. Steak and drinks and trivia . . . fun times!
Sunday we had our family party. And B&K were spoiled rotten. Let's just say they have enough toys to last them through next Christmas and they are going to Disney World (literally).
Today I took the day off of work to take B&K to school (and I totally forgot to take a picture of them. All day!). But they had a blast in their classrooms and we wrapped the day up with a Mexican feast. I'm actually looking foward to going back to work tomorrow -- I need the break!
Sara, our kids have close birthdays. The boys were nine on February 15. What day were your kids born? They are SO adorable! I didn't think you'd go back to Disney after your last trip! I'm glad to see you're headed back. We're gearing up for visit number 4 this June! We should compare notes :).
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to your boys, too, Carrie! B&K's birthday is 2/13. And I'm not heading to Disney . . . you thought right!! B&K are going just with Nana & Papa . . . and Tim & I are planning our own trip far, far away from Disney. Ha! I hope you guys have a fun time, though!
