Much like Thanksgiving, Christmas this year was pretty low key. My parents & brother came to town; we did Xmas eve dinner at Tim’s parent’s house (and Aunt Leslie joined us again). We opened presents at our house on Christmas and then lounged all day and enjoyed an amazing meal (our 2nd that weekend!). We were all spoiled (but the little people maybe a tad bit more than others).
Santa delivered on B&K’s request . . . Bennett got the “dog that poops out its butt” and Kendyll got the “purple Tangled coloring book”. Along with a ton of other fun things. Nana & Papa and Grandma & Grandpa and Santa and especially Uncle Mark were so generous with gifts this year (as were our extended family, too!!). Makes me nervous about what to expect for the birthdays this year . . .
All in all, we survived another holiday season and are so lucky to have family nearby.
